The gathering will not exactly be the long-running “Shark Tank” television show, yet business entrepreneurs, supporters or investors are invited to attend a presentation of business pitches during the High Country Accelerator Boat Launch Celebration set for Friday.
The free event sponsored by the Yampa Valley Entrepreneurship Center at nonprofit Routt County Economic Development Partnership will feature 11 entrepreneurs presenting their business dreams and plans in such areas as apparel, consumer-packaged goods, equestrian therapy services, finance or accounting, fitness center, IT solutions and travel-adventure planning.
Organizers say the evening is dedicated to celebrating the Yampa Valley’s thriving entrepreneurial, startup and business community with “the opportunity to witness engaging investor-style presentations from 11 exciting companies that have flourished in our High Country Accelerator program this past fall.”
