Economic Development Council

A Community Advisory Council
Strategic dialogue and long-term thinking
RCEDP is dedicated to community-driven economic development, and the RCEDP Economic Development Council (EDC) plays a vital role in advancing that mission. The 37-member EDC is a select network of respected leaders from across the Yampa Valley who help shape the region’s long-term trajectory through important conversations about the valley’s economic well-being and quality of life.
Representing a diverse cross-section of business, nonprofit, government, education, and other sectors, EDC members bring strategic insight and broad perspective to the issues that matter most. They serve as a trusted forum for thoughtful dialogue, long-range vision, and leadership on the opportunities and challenges facing the Yampa Valley.
By monitoring economic trends, discussing quality-of-life issues, elevating key opportunities and challenges, and helping define priorities, the EDC not only helps guide RCEDP’s work, but also supports stronger alignment among community partners, the public and private sectors, and other stakeholders working together to shape the future of the Yampa Valley for generations to come.
