Routt County, CO - RCEDP’s Yampa Valley Entrepreneurship Center is now accepting applications for the Spring 2025 cohort of the High Country Accelerator–a dynamic, community-driven initiative designed to support local entrepreneurs from concept to early-stage expansion.

This innovative initiative, developed in collaboration with Seed Scale Partners and Forefront Coaching, provides comprehensive support for emerging startup businesses throughout Routt County. The six-week program combines hands-on learning, expert mentorship, and peer-to-peer collaboration to help entrepreneurs refine their ideas and accelerate their ventures.

The initiative features three core components tailored to support entrepreneurs at various stages of development:

  • Weekly workshops on key startup topics
  • Peer-to-peer discussions that build community and shared learning
  • Access to a mentor network offering personalized coaching and guidance

Delivered through a blend of in-person and virtual sessions, the High Country Accelerator is free to all participants.

“We’re thrilled to launch our second cohort of the High Country Accelerator,” said Eric Miller, Program Manager at RCEDP’s Yampa Valley Entrepreneurship Center. “This program represents a powerful partnership between RCEDP, Seed Scale Partners, Forefront Coaching, and our local mentorship network—all working together to foster entrepreneurship across the Yampa Valley.”

John Bristol, Executive Director of RCEDP, added, “The High Country Accelerator is an incredible opportunity for anyone with a new business idea or recently launched startup to gain the tools and support they need for long-term success. We’re deeply grateful to our funding partners and the Division of Local Affairs for making this program possible.”

The Spring 2025 cohort will run from early May through July, concluding with a Demo Day event
in early July.
